Hey community, been using GoS for about a full 24 hours now. Love the project. Just wanted to bring this to someone's attention, probably @Feretorix. Gotten this error 3 times now, I crash out of LoL to this dialogue:

Access violation at address 04666981 in module new.dll. Read of address 42A30048

But neither client closes I can re-maximize LoL but only to a black screen with the game noise still going on in real-time. A quick re-connect from the LoL client and the Loader re-injects fine and back to the game. It's happen dodging a skill on Garen, randomly on Vayne, and just now as Sivir placing a ward at Drake.

Any idea what could be causing this? Or what I/we can do about it?

Fullscreen about to load back in now to see if I get this. Also note that I've had games go no problem and I've had games where I've had it happen twice. Will post back with screenshot if I experience it again. Idk why I didn't think to do that the first time. Derp.

Yeah just some more info I'm running Windows XP if you couldn't tell in the pic above. Also it seems to be more likely to happen whenever I'm button-spamming.

No.. but if you get it on different systems, and relatively random tiem, I'm gonna do some random guessing what it could be.

-Your AV software is making some issues, so try turnign it OFF and see if you still get errors.

-Some dependance is broken/needs fixing, and as I do not know what they are, I can only tell you that it def. uses directX and might be an error concerning it

So try reinstalling directX

https://www.microsof...ails.aspx?id=35

-It can also be related to lack of memory, so try increasing you virtual memory, and closing unused application:

How to increase the Virtual memory size

Spoiler

-Another thing that comes to my mind, is that there is a memory leak on some systems in the loader, but I'm just guessing.

I think that loader was made in Delphi, and I do not know much about it, so I'm just telling you possible solution, before Fere come back, and helps you.

Also, post you system specs, because it will make it easier for troubleshooting.

Reinstalled, still doesn't solve the problem :(

System Specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit

4GB RAM

Intel Core TM2 Quad Core @ 2.4GhZ

I'm not sure what else can I suggest.

Try updating your systems, as there are many fixes that M$ issued that fix memory leaks/access violations.

And for Palaseus, I would suggest you an update to Win7/Win8 if you are able to, as support for WinXP is over, and it's quite old system, that might have problems running newer application.

The system I LoL on is:

2 GB ram

xp pro

2.8 dual core intel

radeon 6460

VM set well above recommended

but I also experience this on my roommates brand new AMD A8 quad-core 4gb ram laptop. It is running Win 8. I game with NO other programs in the background and i keep all unnecessary services disabled

IDK then man, it might be a lot of things, but it's not something many users experience; it seems. only you two are having problem with it.

If anyone else has it, please post in this topic so Feretorix can troubleshooting it easier, with as much info as you can.
