Administrators

  • Required to:
  • Development of the Gaming on Steroids core.
  • Development of the website and community.

Moderators

  • Required to:
  • Moderators who watch the entire forum for rule breakers, spammers, ...
  • Link between day-by-day forum moderation and administrative tasks.
  • Good behavior and show that you deserve the rank, a lot of spare time
  • Patient and can deal with people, serving as an example to members.
  • Promoted when: You are currently in the "Support" group and the "Administrator" approves on your behavior and recent work as "Support".

Support

  • Required to:
  • Help members who need assistance.
  • Active on the forums and can help at a moments notice.
  • Well behaved and can speak the English language fluently.
  • Concentrate activity in Bugs and Support sections.
  • Marking threads as solved (answered) if problem is fixed.
  • Moving solved threads to the Answered section.
  • Promoted when: You have at least 50 posts and at least 25 of those posts were in order to help people and the "Administrator" approves on your work.

Local Support

  • Assignments:
  • Help members who need assistance.
  • Moderate in their specific language section.
  • Fluent in the language you wish to moderate, being helpful, etc.
  • Promoted when: Have 15 posts, 3 high quality topics (with pics), 7 support answers in threads. (If current Local Support is inactive) and approved by "Administrator".

Subscriber

  • Benefits:
  • Unlocks the golden glowing name feature with special badge.
  • Inbox grows up to 1000 messages.
  • Allowed to change display-name 3 times a month.
  • Allowed to give 10 positive reputation points per day.
  • Avatar size 200x200 and 500kb photo limit.
  • Bypass flood limit in ShoutBox.
  • Gain access to the VIP Scripts, VIP Talks, VIP Matchmaking forum sections.
  • Have no Advertisements on the site.
  • Promoted instantly: when bought from the forum store.

+VIP

  • Benefits:
  • Unlocks the yellow glowing name feature with special badge.
  • Inbox grows up to 5000 messages.
  • Allowed to change display-name 5 times a month.
  • Allowed to give 50 positive reputation points per day and 10 negative.
  • Avatar size 200x200 and 500kb photo limit.
  • Bypass flood limit in ShoutBox, delete and edit own shouts.
  • Can close/open own topics. Can hide oun posts/topics. Can start pools.

Core Developer

  • Required to:
  • Help with the core of GoS in multiple (coding) ways.
  • Being super active in the scripting scene and taking a huge share from it.
  • Promoted when: Really hard to get promoted to due to the huge amount of work required from the "Administrator".

Scripts Developer

  • Required to:
  • Have the knowledge of doing better than basic SBTW scripts.
  • Give credits to the respective developers when 3rd party code is used.
  • Keep their current scripts always up-to-date and without compiling errors.
  • Help people who experience issues with using their scripts.
  • Being positive in the forum as he is serving as an example to other members in it.
  • Approve 3rd party member scripts after testing in the Scripts section.
  • Promoted when: Has proven to have quite some lua knowledge and is able to write high quality scripts.
  • Benefits: Joining our little developers chat in Skype. The chance of creating high quality monetized scripts with IsSubscriber() API and earn real money at the end of each month.

Contributor

  • Required to:
  • Help in the site developement, make a translation, a config or literally anything else useful.
  • Make a site, scripts, database or a helpful program for GoS itself. Possibilities unlimited.
  • Promoted when: When the "Administrator" thinks you really deserve the rank.

GFX Designer

  • Required to:
  • Must have a Portfolio.
  • included Portfolio of atleast 5 Designs.
  • Willing to do designs for developers.
  • Willing to do designs for members(Allowed to charge money)
  • Host events once in a month to do a free gfx.

Subscriptions will go towards:

  • Domain + Hosting fees + DDOS Protection
  • Feretorix for GoS itself and Scripts Developer group for VIP Scripts.

Exceptions: Keep in mind that Feretorix holds the rights to promote or demote anyone, by will, without fulfilling any of the requirements. The Administrator also holds his right to change any of the rules in the above list without warning.
