It has been working in a certain way, simply to download scripts for menu and is a function which is not recommended to use.

It has been this way from the start. Also I haven't really added proper support for auto-updating scripts on purpose.

Our AutoUpdate is working fine, it was for something else. I may have figured a workaround tho, will try and edit this later.

Spoiler

Ext Drawings are really laggy (Since patch 8.3 or so) and it's really annoying (the more drawings you add, the more it stutters). Please take a look at that Feretorix.
Its not very noticeable on the gifs because they're not 60 fps, to reproduce just load a game with no scripts but the Default Orb and try moving around. I've had other users and Devs complain about the same thing.

PS: 60 ext fps / ~160 game fps

Have you tried adjusting the drawings in core? I got mine set to as low as it will go to improve performance.

I have the same. I even play without drawings so it doesn't feel "laggy", on performance settings all my settings are optimized.

Feretorix ext has been stuttering for more than a week already, man, at least keep us posted.

As you said, Devs are only 50% of the project.

I like to use the quote button to get attention of someone because they get a notification at the top :P

In the top example, you have open the menu and that will tank your overlay FPS
