I'm pretty sure that's server-related.

You see, I play at the BR region, and I'm pretty damn sure that hundreds -- thousands of scripters were banned by blatantly scripting and due to being reported several times for doing so. Yeah, it unfortunately happens and you can't Evade your way to Challenger. People around Gold - Plat are very suspicious about anything, really, and at pretty much every game someone will call someone out for scripting. Even if they're playing legit. When someone's actually scripting, these guys go near-literally mad and make a storm, which means reports come in abundantly if you're called out.

What EUW (And probably NA and pretty much any other decent region) Riot is doing is simply actually investigating. I'm pretty sure I could get an account banned in BR by spamming rankeds at a Gold 2 - Plat 2 account while playing legit simply because I'm a Diamond - Master tier player. I was reported before while smurfing and I've been reported/called out for scripting while actually playing legit the whole time. And I seriously doubt our Riot does anything else except look at a few numbers and stats for five minutes and deciding whether you're scripting or not. Our whole support system, except the Billing one and the 3rd-4th answer of the Account Recovery one is fully automated, too, which means you're talking with a bot the whole damn time if you send anything. Brazilian Riot is very, VERY likely the worst Riot region of them all. (Seriously)

Also, bans for scripting/3rd party tools usually come in waves. Individual bans are rare - memorable occurances of those are scripters that end up in some proplayer's stream or end up in the media somehow and make enough noise. For pretty much everyone else punishments come in known banwaves at some random interval.

I doubt these Riot departments are actually negligent about scripting. In truth, I believe they're doing the right thing - doing actual investigation before banning someone. Think about the damage to their image banning an 'innocent' would cause.

Do Riot in BR actually do manual scripting check? Or just computer script scan ban?
