Need some of dem FPS, do ya?
It is normal that with GoS or a potato computer, you will get lower framerate
However, this can be easily solved. I present to you my ULTIMATE FPS boost guide.
League of Legends:
- Lower your graphics settings.
- Lower your resolution - This can be unsuitable for someone, but it will really boost your performance.
- Set Priority in Task Manager. Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete, locate League of Legends.exe under the processes tab, right click, set priority to High.
- Disable Sounds. This can give you some boost as on older computers the sounds are pretty resource-demanding.
- Disable Vertical Synchronization - VSync means that your in-game FPS is synced with the refresh rate of your monitor, which is usually 60 FPS. By disabling this you will get more FPS and thus lower the chance of potential FPS drops / lag spikes.
- Full Game Config: Paste this whole preconfigured game.cfg in LoL Directory / Config Download
- warning: This will change all your keybinds and graphic settings. After loading the config, please adjust the settings to your liking in a custom game.
External Tools:
LoLUpdater - Gives you a nice FPS boost by updating things.
Legendary Client - This will improve the RAM usage of your client, and thus make more free RAM available for the game itself.
warning: You can be banned for using this client, although the chance is pretty low. (Max ban duration so far was 1 week)
Other:
- Install Razer Game Booster - Disables unneccesary things, mainly ends processes that run in the background and take up memory.
- tip: You can do all the things it does manually, Razer Game Booster is just a 1-click tool to make it easier.
- Update your drivers! - I suggest Driver Booster
- Clean your computer - I recommend Advanced Systemcare Pro / CCleaner
- Defrag your computer - I recommend Auslogic Disk Defrag
- Set Power Plan to Best Performance.
Be sure to leave a like, it means a lot to me.
