Hello, I am new to this website but I bought the 10 day sub for the external and it still won't let me use the tool. if anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

Indeed , you're still a member , and your VIP isn't activated yet.
Keep in mind that you have to wait 24 hours (more or less) to see your status changed.
If you are waiting for more than , at least , two hours , then you can contact Feretorix and ask him politely to take a look at your case.

Thanks for replying, When I bought the sub my status was VIP but when I cancelled the auto renew the status changed back to member after it saying that if i cancelled the renew my sub would continue untill the date. Thanks

indeed it's instant
if you cancel the whole subscription from the forum it also changes your status, you had to cancel it from paypal auto-renew instead

Yes I wanted to cancel the auto-renew and after i did that it didn't give me the 10 days I paid for

Don't try to auto-renew it again.
It looks like you encountered a bug. I'd suggest you to wait a little bit, and if you're still not Subscriber and still without your External access, you can contact Feretorix.

I assume it's only a subscription bug. Only Feretorix should be able to do something.
He's daily present, but takes rest on weekend.
Please, be patient, and he'll solve your problem. Unlucky for you it occurred before the weekend ( :/ ) but don't worry, he'll be generous
