Yes i can't scream it enough, just use alternate normal, no reason what so ever to freestyle even in high rank.
Also don't always jump for the ball, it needs to make sense why you're up..

Diamond 3 (b4) Champ 3 (GoS) I had the right mind set & was comfortable with rotations, but my aerial and car control was lacking and GoS helped me with that tremendously

Was d1, before with a peak of champ. Now I just carry people but my peak was like 4 mmr into SSL.
