New user here, I've noticed that when using aerial mode in an attempt to save the ball, 9/10 times  the car fails and air rolls totally opposite to how it should, however in offense, it's fairly consistent, i was wondering if there was a aerial config both suitable for offense and defense? thank you

For a new user, I don't recommend jumping onto other people's configs, because they are playstyle-based and can introduce more problems than solve. And you don't really want to get confused with it that early.

The default one is already pretty good and is made for new users.

It's best to show us a video of how you use it while defending, so we can try and help you, but my guess would be incorrect starting conditions of an aerial, for example your current speed, position, direction, orientation, and usage of jumping, and boosting. All of this matters since it's a physics based game.

A tip I give to new users is to watch the [Intersection Point] (white dot) on the ball's predicted trajectory. This is the point where the car can reach the ball. And this is the point where the [Aerial Bot] will aim for.

So if this point is far or at the end of the ball's trajectory, chances are the car cannot get there in time with it's current conditions.

Feel free to ask any questions about this

normal aerial is good for both, i wouldnt suggest using an aerial mode that air rolls in defense as it can miss the ball more often than just using an aerial mode like normal aerial or you can just defend ur self its not difficult
