Hello @Heisa,
regarding the recent leaks about a possible Rocket League integration into Fortnite, I have a technical question:
Does this have any implications for GOS?
Leaks suggest Rocket League could be ported to Fortnite
Thanks

If that's all the 'proof', then I don't think it's strong enough evidence to consider a full port over to Fortnite.
To me that 'leak' just looks like cosmetic assets being ported to be used. To be considered a possible Rocket League port over to Fortnite I would like to see more than just that. Physics engine would be a legit confirmation.
It could very well be just for their Rocket Racing mode. And it wouldn't make sense to stuff a 30~gb game into another big one. I don't see how that would work. Imagine if you have to download Fornite then another 20-30GB to just play Rocket League. Yeah, people would just quit, leading to the total downfall of it.
As for GOS implications, totally. An engine upgrade, physics changes, or porting it to Fortnite would require substantial amount of work needed to get it functioning again.
Plus you would prolly need a bypass for the anticheat to inject into the game without a ban.If that's all the 'proof', then I don't think it's strong enough evidence to consider a full port over to Fortnite.

I think if they do something stupid like this, it will entirely kill the game. It will kill off the RLBotting & Bakkesmod communities as well.
