Hello. I’ve been pretty quiet on this website so far, but after five years of using Heisa’s tool, I thought it was time to share a full review.

First, I want to clarify something for new users: this is NOT a bot. Nowadays, many lobbies are flooded with automated bots that can reach extremely high MMR (even Top 100). That is not what this helper was designed for, and those bots usually end up getting banned anyway.

Unlike bots, users of Heisa’s tool do not get banned. To my knowledge, there was only one ban wave, and it happened right at the beginning when bots started appearing in ranked play. It lasted about a week at most. Meanwhile, bots are still regularly getting banned today, while players using this tool are not.

If you’re a beginner expecting to instantly reach high MMR with the tool, you’ll probably be disappointed. The tool is quite complex at first because you need to understand how the physics interact with the ball, air rolls, and other mechanics. However, once you become comfortable with it, reaching high MMR is absolutely possible. For example, I started five years ago as a Platinum player. I am now Mid-GC3 (I’ve been GC for three years). I honestly believe I could have reached SSL if I hadn’t taken so many breaks. I’m still working toward it, but that’s mostly a skill issue on my part.

I also strongly recommend that controller users unbind all controller-based quick chat hotkeys (the arrow keys) and the scoreboard. Binding them to your keyboard instead frees up valuable controller space for additional hotkeys such as kickoff, walldash, demo bot, etc.

Personally, I use JoyToKey to map keybinds to my controller. ReWASD is also excellent and probably better overall—I’m simply more used to JoyToKey. If you already use ReWASD, I suggest sticking with it.

Feature Ratings

DEMOLITION BOT – 9/10

It performs its role very well. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a 10 is that it sometimes struggles to jump and secure demos when opponents jump to avoid them. However, this is largely due to high-MMR players being extremely good at avoiding demos, so it’s hard to blame the tool.

Wavedash Bot – 9.9/10

Almost flawless. Walldashes are incredible and were available before the mechanic became widely popular. Today, many high-MMR players can perform them, but years ago it was a niche mechanic mainly used by GOS users or a few high-level players. The only improvement I’d suggest would be adding a Horsedash/Zapdash feature, which could be useful for kickoffs and faster recoveries. Fortunately, this seems to be planned for the next version.

Kickoff Bot – 8/10

I haven’t played in low MMR for a long time, but at high MMR, automated kickoffs are often beaten. I usually perform them manually or at least handle the final dash myself. This feature could be improved, especially by adding alternative kickoff styles such as “Mawkzy’s kickoff” (a speedflip wavedash kickoff).

Flip Cancel Feature (Speedflip / Autoflip Cancel) – 7/10

This is a very useful feature. I personally use it to automate speedflips by directing my joystick (via JoyToKey) and to perform consistent half-flips. Both functions work extremely well.

However, there is a known issue where the tool sometimes chains multiple speedflips unexpectedly, sending you far away from the play. It often triggers after going off ramps or during wall-to-floor transitions while performing a speedflip. If this bug were fixed, I would easily rate this feature 10/10.

Visual Features – 8/10

The boost timers are excellent and don’t really need improvement. Car vision is extremely helpful during demolition situations. The flip indicator is also very useful.

The most important visual feature is probably the ball trajectory prediction. It’s very good and highly customizable. The only improvement I’d suggest is better post-hit detection. Currently, you can recognize post hits because the indicator briefly switches from “IN GOAL” to “NOT GOAL.” Adding a dedicated color (for example, blue) for post-hit events would make this clearer.

I also want to highlight what is probably the most important feature for me (aside from the aerial bot): enemy boost visibility. Experienced players can estimate opponent boost levels, but this tool lets you know the exact amount. This significantly influences decision-making and can completely change your gameplay.

Aerial bot - 9/10

I personally use two of the three aerial modes: Alternate Freestyle 2-Type 5 and Flip Reset. I avoid using all three because I don’t have enough free controller buttons and find it difficult to manage multiple modes simultaneously.

The configuration I use is very strong for air dribbles and double taps. That said, air dribbles often require significant manual adjustment because the tool sometimes hits the ball too hard or positions itself slightly ahead of the ball rather than underneath and behind it.

The tool is very effective for defensive backboard reads. However, it tends to miss trajectories when jumping from walls while the ball is close to the wall. In those cases, I usually have to take manual control.

The strongest aspect of the aerial bot is definitely double taps. It can hit double taps from almost any angle, though minor manual adjustments are sometimes needed at the end.

One recurring issue occurs after getting a flip reset. When switching back to the main aerial mode, the tool sometimes struggles and seems to get “stuck.”

Additional Feedback

I would really like to see compatibility between Bakkesmod and GOS again without performance issues or conflicts, if that becomes possible.

I know aerial functionality will receive major improvements in the next version, so I’m confident most of the issues mentioned here will be addressed. I expect the aerial rating could easily reach 10/10 in the future.

Final Thoughts

That concludes my review. I want to sincerely thank Heisa for his work and dedication. The community truly supports his development of the next version.

That said, I am somewhat concerned about the future of GOS given the current state of Rocket League. Due to ongoing DDoS attacks and bot infestations, Epic Games may introduce Easy Anti-Cheat (according to a SteamDB leak). This could potentially impact all third-party programs. I sincerely hope Heisa finds a way to adapt if that happens.
