What setting do I need to change to stop the posts from being added?
It's not always a setting you can just tune, but code limitations, physics - such as your angle to the ball and the goal, the point on the car's hitbox you hit and the speeds you meet the ball with.
With that being said, you can play around with the risk factor settings.
Best tip I give out with the 3.9 versions is to watch where the intercept point is relative to the goal, and if you somewhat align the target to the goal, you would increase the chances of scoring
