So i graduated as a developer and work in the .net environment mostly mvc websites. Would like to start scripting for lol as a hobby but have 0 clue where to start. Not asking for help to code more a guideline for how to go from 0 to a simple script (hello world in game chat) .

 

basic example with what im struggling = myHero.charName isnt in the api changelog or whatever. u guys using a library or where do u get this information from?

Here you go: API 

You cant really print in game chat with EXT (But you can type with a small exploit)

If you wanna improve check how others do stuff, keep the API open on a new tab and try coding something that works. Dont copy other's code unless its common stuff.

As the landscape of competitive gaming evolves, could scripting become the norm rather than the exception? What implications would this have for game integrity, player skill, and the overall experience? Would embracing scripting lead to a more level playing field or create a divide between those who script and those who rely solely on their skills?
