GOS Scripts not showing

Support Help GOS Big Penis

Best Answer Pineapplelumps , 09 November 2015 - 03:45

Absolutely amazing feedback, thank you for the help (SARCASM).

I ended up figuring it out myself. Apparently it was using a separate user account to install its files and scripts. Instead of it installing to C:\Users\"TheAccountI'mUsing"\AppData\Roaming\GamingOnSteroids it would instead Install to C:\Users\"Privacy OP plz nerf"\AppData\Roaming\GamingOnSteroids.

"TheAccountI'mUsing" Is a normal non-administrator account, thus when installing GOS (loader.exe) I would be asked for the Username and Password of an administrator account to make changes to the computer. Which in turn, installed it to the administrator account "Privacy OP plz Nerf" and not the Standard User  "TheAccountI'mUsings" account.

The way to fix this if anyone else has these problems, is simply open loader.exe, and inside the Scripts box right click, to bring up a menu. There should be a drop down menu with the options to.....

- Install New Script

- Refresh Scripts

- Scripts Folder

- Common Folder

Click either "scripts folder" or "Common Folder" I believe this creates a full directory allowing you to simply copy the "LOL" folder in the Administrative %APPDATA% C:\Users\"Privacy OP plz nerf"\AppData\Roaming\GamingOnSteroids\LOL

to the newly created directory C:\Users\"TheAccountI'mUsing"\AppData\Roaming\GamingOnSteroids\LOL

You can get a fully scripted, LOL folder from http://gamingonstero...ly-updated-521/ where Imsoocool posted a link to download a "LOL" folder containing a ton of scripts.

If this doesn't work for you, Simply copy the whole GOS folder from one account and place it in a similar directory in the other account for example C:\Users\"Administrator"\Roaming\Gamingonsteroids copy "Gamingonsteroids folder to C:\Users\"Standard"\Roaming

Enjoy.

I am using the latest GOS loader for 5.21 patch with the following settings

(ON) enable scripts engine
(ON) enable humanizer
(ON) Auto-Update Libraries

- SCRIPTS -

(ON) Simple Xerath - ilovesona
(OFF) MoTBase - Powerblobb

Whenever i join the game, it loads up as usual, however i can only access the F7 bot configuration screen. However when i press F6 or shift. Nothing shows.

I have my scripts folder located in C:\Users\"privacy OP plz nerf"\AppData\Roaming\GamingOnSteroids

Where on the first hierarchy it shows 3 files the "ADDON" folder (which contains curl.exe)

The "LOL" folder which contains "scripts" folder, "LocalScriptDB.ini" file, "new.dll" and "old.dll"

Lastly the "settings.ini"

Inside the scripts folder contains "Common" folder which I'm presuming is all the base scripts needed to run the other scripts, and my two scripts (Simple Xerath, MoTBase) i added using the GOS websites easy install.

I read a few topics to fix my problem, however none of them have worked. I have tried.....

1. Reinstalling from scratch (deleting Gamingonsteroids folder in Appdata) and uninstalling via Launcher (Loader.exe)
2. moving the scripts to the common folder (simple xerath, MoTBase)
3. Moving the base scripts (DLIB, Inspired, 2D geometry ect.....) outside of the folder, and into the Scripts folder)
4. Number 2 and 3 but instead of moving it, i decided to leave the originals in and just copy it instead.
5.  Renaming the files (simpleXerath.lua --> Xerath.lua -----> xerath.lua) none of the changes worked.

Yeah sorry for not getting any help from community on your problem
And the biggest reason for this is to let People users to figure out something themselves once in a while , since most problems are mistakes made by user himself and not the program/script that caused it "most of the times only dumb blindness :p" So yeah . Sorry again , And I'm glad that you solved this issue yourself :)

In this case the issue is caused by the Loader, forcing to run only in Admin mode.

A solution would be to copy the scripts from the admin to the subuser folder, or the other way around.
