Right. While it is true that sharing progress might seem like I'm dragging users along, this is not my intent.
The purpose of this thread is to document, be transparent and share the real progress I am making. It might seem that my posts are hyping it up, but that's just because of how I personally feel about the challenges that I'm overcoming along the way.
The way I write update posts is exactly how I feel at the moment when writing about them, because it's exciting to share it. Being passionate about it is the main driving force that I haven't given up on it, despite the many roadblocks I've faced.
If my goal was to 'just throw' some features out there just to retain users, I wouldn't have bothered with pushing the limits of my knowledge everyday for so long and architecturally change almost everything in the tool in order to level it up. I would have just kept everything the same by adding only small features with not much real value and call it a day.
Everything would have stayed the same and the people would be happy, right? Right? \
"You either push your own limits in this life in everything, or you stay a slave to them and remain on the same level, comfortable up until the very end."
