GOS Unlimited Tunnel - Like Codex without usage limit.

We are releasing a new windows only APP which stands between your ChatGPT.com chat account and your Windows PC as a bridge. Shoutout to @Heisa
Unlike Codex (or ChatGPT work) it allows you to use it as "limitless credits usage" for heavier tasks.
(Also there's a video tutorial at the bottom of this page)

If you have a Pro subscription you will be able to use more premium model version (at the release of this topic it is the Sol model) and with a ChatGPT free account you get to use one of the older flash models which has it's own intelligence limits.

The product on this website is a single .exe file which you can access by downloading the GOS Loader from this link: https://gamingonsteroids.com/forum/30-gos-loader-download/ and finding the OpenAI tab with the product itself.
You can use it for free by logging in GOS Loader using your Discord account as long as the display name in it has the @ gos.works tag in it.

Now the "hard part" which is a one time setup for your personal ChatGPT account ... how to actually build the Plugin which connects your OpenAI chats to the plugin, then the plugin to the GOS Unlimited Tunnel and the tunnel to your desktop PC... Here it goes:

 

1️⃣ Turn on ChatGPT Developer mode
Open Developer mode https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Security?section=developer-mode
Find Developer mode under Security and login.
Turn the Developer mode switch on.
Here is a screenshot example:
 

 

2️⃣ Copy your org-…
Open Organization settings https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/general
Choose the organization that should own the tunnel.
Find Organization ID. Copy the complete value beginning with org-.
Put it temporarily in a txt file or any other safe place, you'll use that later inside GOS Unlimited Tunnel.

3️⃣ Create your sk-proj-… key
Open Project API keys https://platform.openai.com/api-keys
At the top of the Platform page, select a project inside the same organization from Step 2.
Select Create new secret key.
Name it GOS Unlimited Tunnel.
Create the key. Copy the full secret immediately; OpenAI shows it only once, so copy and paste it in a safe .txt, you'll use that later inside GOS Unlimited Tunnel.

4️⃣ Create your tunnel_…
Open Tunnel settings https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/tunnels
Make sure the Platform shows the same organization from Step 2.
Select Create tunnel.
Name it something easy to recognize, such as GOS Unlimited Tunnel - My PC
Associate it with the Platform organization that owns it. (from step 2)
Also associate it with the ChatGPT account/workspace that will create the plugin. Without this, the tunnel may not appear in ChatGPT for plugins.
Save the tunnel and copy its complete tunnel_… ID. you'll use that later inside GOS Unlimited Tunnel software.

5️⃣ Start the tunnel on Windows
Open GOS Loader
Login with your discord account which display name has the @ gos.works tag or your premium account.
Navigate to OpenAI > GOS Unlimited Tunnel > Click Download/Launch
This will start GOS-Unlimited-Tunnel.exe. It will download dependencies and after it finishes it will ask you to show you this tutorial: 
If you choose [N] it will ask you for the Runtime API key, paste the sk-… key from Step 3 and press Enter. Nothing appears while you paste; that is normal.
Paste the org-… from Step 2 and press Enter.
Paste the tunnel_… from Step 4 and press Enter.
Wait until the window prints the large green word READY. Leave this window open.

 

 

6️⃣ Create the ChatGPT plugin
Open the New Plugin form https://chatgpt.com/plugins?view=personal#settings/Connectors?create-connector=true&redirectAfter=%2Fplugins
Keep the Windows launcher open and showing READY.
Open the button above. A window titled New Plugin should appear.
Skip the optional icon.
For Name, enter GOS Unlimited Tunnel.
For the optional description, enter Access my Windows and let me code as I please.
Under Connection, choose Tunnel.
Under Available tunnels, select the tunnel from Step 4. If it is missing, select Use tunnel ID instead and paste the same tunnel_….
Under Authentication, choose No Auth. Never paste the sk-… key here.
Read the warning and tick I understand and want to continue.
Select Create. Wait while ChatGPT finds the local tools.
Open the plugin permissions. Select allowing everything automatically for seamless coding experience. (on your own risk)

 

 

We have finished setting up for the first and (hopefully last) time the bridge API and the plugin itself. Time for the final steps.

 

7️⃣ Try your first safe question
Now open a ChatGPT chat and ask what is on your Desktop.

Open a new ChatGPT chat.
Click the message box and type @.
Select the plugin you created, such as @GOS Unlimited Tunnel. (to invoke it with blue color at the front)
After the plugin name appears in the message box, type: what files and folders I have at my desktop?
Press the send button.
Here is a screenshot example:

Success: ChatGPT should answer with the files and folders it can see through your connected tunnel.

 

 

8️⃣ Create a small Snake game
This is the final test. It checks that ChatGPT can create a file in your connected project folder.

Keep GOS Unlimited Tunnel open and showing READY.
Open a new ChatGPT chat, type @, and select your plugin.
Send this request:
Create a simple snake.html game in my C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\GOS_Tunnel folder.
Replace the folder path with your own project folder if it is different.
If ChatGPT asks for permission to create the file, approve it.
Open the folder and double-click snake.html to play.

 

Now after setting up everything ... the next time it will be way easier:

1) Start GOS Loader
2) Login and open the GOS Unlimited Tunnel app
3) Open ChatGPT and start chatting and creating your apps.
4) Do not forget if you start a new chat window to invoke once the plugin using

 

And finally here is a video made with Davinci Resolve free version using MCP and the unlimited GOS Tunnel (so I don't run out of credits)

Damn, this is interesting. Right now I have GPT Pro, but if this works just as well like an unlimited GPT-6 Astra Max., I’d be saving $85. I just have to wait for my GPT subscription to expire.

Better not wait for your GPT Pro plan to expire ... go check in chat what you can use, for me it is those two models: 

 

Meanwhile on a free account you get 5.6 Luna only. The tab where you select the model is only a "thinking" button...

No because "Chat" does not use any credits from your plan, sadly they provide currently only Sol 5.6 for "Chat.

Do not select "Work" because it starts using real credits just like Codex, even though it shows they "offer" GPT Astra to be used...

so to be sure to understand if we use gos and stay in chat mode we can basically do anything like let him run 24h/7 for 1 month and it will never get usage limit

and if we got plus or pro can we do the same on work too or its only for chat?

 

because to anyone havent tried astra yet its like another step over any currently AI that exist

btw i got a master degree in computer science but was in 2008 hehe before all those new tool

okay that confuses me, in the video it showed that its ulimited usage in work mode, but now u say otherwise?

Yes it's really unfortunate that they do not allow to use Astra in Chat yet ... but most likely they will add it soon.

Yes, you can use 24/7 Chat mode and not waste any credits and not receive any kind of limits.

No, "Work" is made by default to waste credits usage and hit limits after some time ... "Work" is the same as Codex, but hosted in the web, that's why they offer to use "Astra".

No, I did not show it in "Work" mode, I used a free account and they were advertising to me to Pay and upgrade my account to start using Work instead. If you look closely - the rest of the video is fully in Chat mode.

I think having Sol 5.6 at High for 100% free and unlimited is still quite a nice upgrade. You can combine both things:

1) Start Codex while you still have some usage, start and construct major things with Astra and when you have to do mini-fixes you can switch to the GOS Unlimited Tunnel and use GPT Chat to fix minor stuff.
