@Heisa ah I see do you recommend auto for starting velocity or the default 1550?

It really depends on how familiar you are with the game and your playstyle, you should ask yourself if you need to beat your opponents to the ball, or is that not the case at your current MMR

@Heisa sorry to keep bothering you but what exactly does match speed do? does it do anything in the air if you have auto boost off or only on the ground? when should I enable/disable it? Also is there a reason not to set all correction values to the minimum?

@Heisa I think something you could do for upside down mode is basically just have it behave completely like normal aerial mode except it will try to use the top front to hit the ball for example if the ball is above the goal right now it will usually hit it with the front wheels or bottom of the car when it would be much better better to hit it with the top front if you know what I mean. Essentially it will try to orient to use that top front part of the car so that it has the best hitbox to hit the ball.

Okay so I'm pretty sure match speed doesn't do anything in the air. Match speed will try and make your car go the same speed as the ball on the ground. Turning on/off auto boost doesn't change that.

 

You really shouldn't have to enable/disable things using this tool. You should be able to find good settings and then not have to change them for awhile. I would enable match speed because it helps with dribbles and it helps your car line up a shot. It's personal preference. I would mess around with the tool until you find out what settings you like to use :)

 

You really do want you're correction values somewhere in the middle or use automatic. Correction values are the things that actually shoot the ball into the goal. If you had all of the values set to the minimum then it would have a hard time scoring. If you set them too high then it would go for too much of an angle and miss. I would personally use automatic correction values unless you know what you're doing.

 

Also I'm pretty sure you should be posting on the support and suggestion panel?

Which aerial setting usually has the best prediction? I did notice a difference in prediction between them but not sure which one is the best.

Normal Aerial mode has the least amount of trajectory errors, just align your car towards the intercept point, hold the hotkey button jump and boost. The other modes require a little bit better circumstances such as starting direction and sometimes boost feathering

@Heisa can you maybe add a separate hotkey for aerial bot that doesnt use aim at goal as sometimes when u have aim at goal on even if u also have only facing you get kinda bad touches on clears and saves cuz it hits tries to hit the ball to the goal so you could use the separate hotkey for saves and clears and such.

This is mostly player error...

If you're positioning correctly you shouldn't be having that problem. I know this isn't the best solution for you but it's the truth.

Hello, I binded wave dashing on my jump key ingame, because I use it just to orient my car while I am in air. But if I use the jump key it have some reduced jump instead of normal jump. Is it possible to separate functions wave dashing and orienting your car while landing? Thank you very much.

Tldr: I want to use A on my gamepad for jumping and landing.

I am controller user and this would help me advance from diamond to champion. Thank you very much.

 

Edit: Started using X, except few problems its working fine

Experienced same problem, but it happens only when you are defending and you are using aerial freestyle, it just makes you miss the ball a little bit. It works fine when you are using normal aerial. Not sure if it's possible to check distance from my goal and decide it use normal aerial or freestyle. Or to hit ball more to the middle when you are close you your goal.

 

Edit: Something is off with normal freestyle and its not about positioning, I can reproduce it 10 out of 10 times.

Hello, i have a problems with any function by soft. If i use any hotkey, car fliping on the spot and no more [aerial,kickoff,wave dash]. Particles work without any problems. I'll tryed change settings [in game/in soft], but it's uselessly. PLS HELP!

In this patch I have fixed some issues from player reports and have added directional Wave Dashes meaning it will dash in the direction where the car is moving. 
 
Bigger changes and additions are on their way as soon as I'm done with exams this year !

GoS: RocketLeague has been updated for the latest v1.88 patch ( December 08, 2020 ). Enjoy!
 
In this patch I have fixed some issues from player reports and have added directional Wave Dashes meaning it will dash in the direction where the car is moving. 
 
Bigger changes and additions are on their way as soon as I'm done with exams this year !

The game got updated so The tool had to be updated for the latest offsets of the game. So Heisa updated the Tool and everything is working fine again. "Update" doesn't bring new features all the time. If people suggest some stuff and if they are possible to code he can work on it and release in the next updates.
