Hi,

 

To shed some light on the current progress so far that I've made, I am making this topic because I do not want to keep the users in the dark for too long.

As of today, the Version 4.0.0 will have a [Path Finder] feature, which allows the [Auto Drive] feature to go anywhere on the map and as efficiently as possible using many optimization techniques

Can't wait to try all of this. Amazing work! 

1 .question i want to ask is. I often have trouble getting the right "POP" to match ball speed with car when attempting to go from wall to aerial or ground to aerial. Will V4 be able to help correct this?

2. Would it be possible to add in aerial flick or dribble to flick mode?

Hello @Heisa im loving your work, been a subscriber since 2020, since 2022 nothing really new or big really happened like the bot been kinda the same, im really waiting for v4 and can't wait to see how it works, love and peace!

Can't wait the new update , if it's more accurate , pretty sure i'll hit gc2

hey its xASSCLAPPERx built all the configs in user section. the second i can get access to this v4 to build a full v7 config for the public i will do so. i know a ton of these guys have been missing me.  :wub:

Yoo its been a while since you posted this. Any news about possible release? You said you were trying to release it this year and 2024 gonna be over soon. What are your thoughts about v4 release @Heisa

I am still working on it actively in my free time.

Progress, unfortunately is not linear as the project involves layers of logic that interact in complex ways and fixing one problem, or adding another feature sometimes reveal other issues that need to be addressed.

Sometimes I also need to revisit previous work or, I have to experiment with different approaches to solve a problem, therefor I cannot approximate a release date yet, because I want to deliver a good product that functions well

I will post in advance when it's nearing a release, so stay tuned and check the forums at times

With how different the Aerial Bot will execute/approach things, assuming we'll be on what the default settings for v4 is, how well does it handle defense? When the ball is heading towards the goal, sometimes the aerial bot will instantaneously change its trajectory to the final point of contact rather than what I thought was very savable. Rather than using an older type like Type 3 since that's what most people recommend for defense, does Type 6 mitigate the risk of error for that kind of situation? Sorry if it's a silly question.

If it goes for the last point of contact, chances are that it cannot be reached at the current positioning/speed/time

The biggest mistake of the current interception points is that they are slow in defense, so they pretend to chase the ball and miss it. If redirect mode complability comes, I believe it will also work in defense. I believe that with the path finder feature, misses due to errors made during take-off will be reduced somewhat. v4 is going to be truly amazing. Ty heisa WE ARE WAITING
