iSpeedie Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Hello my fellow friends of GoS I wanted to suggest adding support for the game Puck — it's a new physics-based hockey game on Steam that feels a lot like Rocket League but on ice. Why it would be great: Very similar gameplay style (fast movement, precise control, team play) Lots of potential for useful features like: Puck prediction / trajectory lines Auto positioning / helper bots Boost / stamina timers Goalie helpers Better camera options Custom scripts (flicks, passes, etc.) The game is free, growing and has good potential. Many players who enjoy Rocket League are checking it out too including myself. It has no anti cheat as of this moment and probably won't for a long time. I know @HeisaLoves coding tools for physics games and this one fits the category 🤭 Would love to see GoS support for it in the future! 👍 What do you guys think? 1 Quote
Aristo Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Thank you for the suggestion! While I can't promise it will happen, I appreciate your idea! Quote

I might Yessir unity engine and game has a lot of potential it could be the next big thing after rl. @Heisa im sure if u try it on steam for like 10 mins (its free and 500mb) you will understand my pain w this game. @Aristo Try it out im curious what are your thoughts on it Quote
Feretorix Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Between 300 and 1000 players in the game. https://steamdb.info/app/2994020/charts/ It has potential but needs some marketing from a few big streamers. 1 Quote
aniffo1 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I tried it yesterday, it's actually more fun than I would have expected 1 Quote
iSpeedie Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 @Feretorix Yessss the player base is tiny at the moment, but its super early stage for the game its like a year old, Rocket didn't blow up right away as well, what i'm saying is GoS has always been a group that has things you cant find on the market anywhere else. Someone like @Heisa could probably make a tool for a game like this in under a month i recon. Even if there is not a lot of attention at fist i think it would be valuable for this community to have a tool ready for these kinds of games. Have faith 🙂 Quote

The biggest issue is the playerbase as Feretorix has mentioned. I don't think there are even bots you can play against ? So start promoting it or something to get it going 😂 Quote

I mean yes the player base is around 1k but, im sure if there is a tool for this atleast 100 of those 1000 are willing to pay to be op in that game. Even if like 5 people buy this tool, lets say you make it and realise it for 20 bucks a months, thats still 100 bucks every month for a tool you make once and barely have to update unlike RL which needs updating every month. Ayy, lmao: Thankfully that the game is not big, because its literally open source and not protected at all. It will be a disaster for everyone.. Edited Saturday at 03:42 PM by Heisa 2 2 Quote

You already cooked with the puck prediction? bruv you different xd @Heisa when can i expect the full version :D. Also check youtube for some of clips of this game where actually good players control the puck, it looks insane. Just out of curiosity heisa how long would it take you to code some kind of tool with some features like follow puck or puck prediction or Goalie Helpers? Quote
